The Nordic Physio clinical reasoning model

A diagnosis tells you what to call a problem. It rarely tells you why the problem appeared, why it persists, or what will make it better. That is why every session at Nordic Physio begins with reasoning rather than labelling.
Five domains guide the assessment: biological factors, psychological factors, social factors, load and capacity, and mechanical stress quantification. Together they describe the whole situation a body is living in.
Tissue health matters, but so do sleep, stress, beliefs about pain, work demands and how much training load has changed in recent weeks. When one of these shifts sharply, symptoms often follow.
My role is to identify which of these factors matter most for you right now, treat what responds to hands-on work, and build a plan that keeps the improvement after you leave the clinic.
Understanding the person behind the symptoms is usually the first step towards a better outcome.
