About

NORDIC PHYSIO

Nordic Physio is a manual therapy practice built on one simple idea: treatment should be individualized. Every session starts with a thorough assessment of your joints, movement quality and the demands of your daily life or sport.

The Mulligan Manual Therapy Concept is a key element of the treatment - pain-free mobilisations combined with active movement to restore function quickly. It is paired with progressive loading and education, so improvements last beyond the clinic.

Consultations take place in Albir on the Costa Blanca in collaboration with established clinics, serving patients in English, Spanish, Norwegian and Danish.

Clinical Reasoning Model

The Nordic Physio Clinical Reasoning Model

At Nordic Physio, I don't focus solely on symptoms or diagnosis. My clinical reasoning framework considers five key domains:

  • Biological Factors
  • Psychological Factors
  • Social Factors
  • Load & Capacity
  • Mechanical Stress Quantification

Recovery and performance are influenced by multiple interacting factors, including tissue health, movement, sleep, stress, lifestyle, beliefs, social environment, load management, and mechanical stress.

My role is to identify the factors that matter most for each individual and create a plan that supports lasting results.

Understanding the person behind the symptoms is often the first step towards better outcomes.

What I can help with

Pain is shaped by biological, psychological and social factors - treatment addresses all three.
Diagram showing load versus capacity and overload injury risk
Overload injuries happen when load outgrows capacity. Rehab restores the balance.
